Carbon nanotubes filter for detection and selective binding of mercury ions
With carbon nanotubes, a filter capable of detecting and selectively bind mercury as part of a system of pre-treatment to be implemented in surface plasmon sensors was developed. These filters allow passage and selective retention of chemical entities, aspect of great importance for the design and manufacture of systems for treatment of contaminated water.
